curious minds, bright futures
I teach kiddos in York Region, from wobbly kindergarten scissors to grade six science experiments. I love creating a classroom where students feel safe, brave, and excited to learn.
My classroom runs on imagination, creativity, and the belief that every child has something special worth celebrating.
Outside school hours, you'll probably find me with a coffee in hand, laminating, printing, dreaming up new ideas, and planning the next classroom adventure.

BEd + OCT
York University · Ontario College of Teachers
My teaching story started with two passions: understanding how kids learn and loving the world of childhood. I studied Educational Studies and Children, Childhood and Youth Studies (BA), then grew that curiosity into practice through my Bachelor of Education in Primary and Junior Teaching. Those two degrees were the spark for everything I do now.

2023 / 24
My first full-time class
In 2023 to 2024 I stepped into my first LTO in a Grade 2/3 classroom, and that is where my teaching story really started. It was my first full-time class, where I took on my own learning goals, routines, and daily instruction while building a strong, supportive community for every student.

Special Education Resource Teacher
In 2024 to 2025 I taught my first Grade 4 class and supported students as a Special Education Resource Teacher, a year full of learning, growth, and discovery. I learned to balance the needs of the whole class with the support each student deserved, and it shaped me into a more confident, thoughtful educator.

Second time around
In 2025 to 2026 I had a Grade 4 LTO. Teaching Grade 4 for the second time, I refined what worked, streamlined my routines, and deepened my instructional planning to create a space where students feel confident, curious, and ready to learn every day.

And when the recess bell rings, the story keeps going…
After the bell
The clubs I have started and run, because learning shouldn't end when class is done.

Hands-on discovery
I helped launch a science club where students got to be little scientists: mixing, building, and experimenting to see how cool the world can be.

Two years running
For two years I led the Forest of Reading, cheering students through book lists, reading challenges, and activities that made reading feel like a game. We even went to downtown Toronto to meet the authors!

National finalists
I co-led the robotics club where students built and programmed robots, and we made it all the way to the national finals. A huge win for their creativity and teamwork.

Junior Girls & Boys
I organized and coached the Junior Girls and Junior Boys teams, building a space where students could laugh, learn teamwork, and feel proud of themselves on and off the court.

Annual, school-wide
I organized our school's annual food and toy drive, giving students and families a hands-on way to help others and feel part of something bigger than the school.
Beyond the classroom
The field trips we've taken, so curiosity can grow wherever we go.
As part of our novel study and movie-review writing unit, my class went to the cinema to watch The Wild Robot. Students wrote predictions, enjoyed the film, then wrote thoughtful reviews connecting the movie to what they'd read. Novel study, media literacy, and writing all in one memorable day.
A day of outdoor learning, teamwork, and fun at the VORC. Students explored trails, took on challenges together, and got to know each other in a brand new environment. An amazing way to build confidence and community beyond the classroom.
We visited Reptilia as part of our Grade 4 science unit on animals and habitats. Students got up close with reptiles, explored different species, and connected what they saw to classroom learning about structures, adaptations, and ecosystems. Science made real and exciting.
Theme days
Because the hard work at the end of every writing unit deserves a little extra sparkle, surprise, and fun. Building unforgettable memories, every step of the way.
Building memories, every step of the way!
Kids might not remember what you taught them, but they'll always remember how you made them feel.
